Cardi B isn’t happy about having to wake up early for community service

Cardi B has proven herself to be more of a night owl than an early bird, as she isn’t happy with having to wake up at the crack of dawn for her community service.

The WAP rapper, 30, avoided jail time in September 2022 after pleading guilty to two misdemeanour charges after a fight broke out in a strip club.

She was first arrested for a ‘brawl’ at a strip club in 2018, after she allegedly ordered an attack on two bartenders, over claims that one slept with her husband, Offset.

The situation is thought to have escalated, with Cardi allegedly throwing a hookah at them.

After appearing in court, Cardi – real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar – wasn’t given a prison sentence, but instead was placed on an order of protection for three years.

This requires her to stay away from the two women, and complete community service.

Two co-defendants also pleased guilty.

It’s not known what exactly the musician has been doing for her community service, however, she was reported to court last month after failing to complete a 15-day community service sentence as part of her plea deal.

A judge later extended the deadline to March 1.

Cardi has seemingly been struggling with the early starts, though, sharing a mirror selfie to Twitter just before leaving for duty.

‘My brains are burning from waking up early, community service then studio….but I did the crime “I only have myself to blame”,’ she tweeted.

The award-winning hitmaker was covered in designer clobber, donning a beige bomber jacket, Chanel beanie, and Balenciaga Yellow Tape hourglass bag.

Cardi has spoken about her community service previously, writing on Twitter on January 20 that she was already on her ‘second day’, urging her followers to ‘obey the law.’

Her early starts aren’t the only thing Cardi has been ranting about lately, as she’s also feeling the pinch as prices soar due to inflation.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Cardi has built a fortune worth around $80million (£67million) but, apparently, she’s not too rich to keep an eye on the cost of living despite her weekly shop no doubt being a drop in the ocean for her finances.

Relating to the ordinary people, she tweeted: ‘Naaaaaa grocery shopping prices are ridiculous right now You might as well eat outside !!’

Although, her followers had little sympathy, yanno, given her mega bank balance…
