A man has been stabbed to death following a wild brawl just metres away from a children’s playground.
The 24-year-old was stabbed multiple times at Leonard Reserve on Chapel Street in Roselands, south-west Sydney, at 9.50pm on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and paramedics tried to revive the man before he died.

A passenger in a passing car captured footage of police at the scene showing officers standing over a body resting next to a playground.
A woman said she had heard a fight unfold in the lead-up to the stabbing.
‘I heard a fight and a man scream out “help, no stop!” and that was it,’ she wrote on Facebook.
‘There was a blanket or body bag looked like at the basketball court.’
Police said several people were involved in the fight with some seen fleeing along Myer Street.
Detectives have set up a crime scene and launched an investigation.
