The Apprentice viewers in hysterics over Marnie Swindells spanking ‘bad boy’ Avi Sharma

Viewers were stunned! (Picture: BBC)

The Apprentice viewers were left in hysterics on tonight’s episode after a task took a pretty wild turn, with some spanking involved…

The remaining contestants were tasked by Lord Alan Sugar with putting on immersive experiences for guests, with Avi Sharma’s team choosing a Victorian schoolday.

What their guests weren’t quite ready for was teacher Marnie Swindells spanking ‘bad boy’ Avi with a cane.

Trying to pretend they were all in a Victorian classroom, Marnie, dressed up in a bonnet, called out to schoolboy Avi to show her his homework.

But the project manager failed to impress wth the answer on his chalkboard.

‘How dare you come to my class and present this,’ she told him. ‘You know exactly what happens to bad boys in my class.’

‘No Lady Madey,’ he pleaded, before he was ordered to bend over, and spanked on his bum with a cane.

‘Please Lady Madey, no more,’ he added, while she replied: ‘What did you say? Harder?’

Viewers had no idea what to think, with one writing: ‘Omg watching Avi get a spank was hilarious’.

‘Marnie and Avi….oh my god….’, another penned.

Someone else wrote: ‘MARNIE AND AVI what was that’.

Of course, the moment didn’t go unnoticed by Lord Sugar in the boardroom, as the business tycoon questioned: ‘You started off in a school-teacher manner, demonstrating how you get the cane if you’re a naughty boy, is that right?’

‘Yes Lord Sugar you’re right, I did receive a whipping,’ he replied.

‘Did you enjoy it?’ Baroness Karren Brady joked.

‘I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it,’ Avi continued to a room of chuckles.

‘I think what was most important was the guests found it very entertaining,’ he added, with Lord Sugar chiming in: ‘I would have, watching you getting whacked!’

The Apprentice airs Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One.
